Jeana Bird Photography: New Year's Day!

Welcome to my blog! I am a natural-light, on-location photographer specializing in family and child photography. I love everything about photography. The chance I have to capture moments that will never be repeated. I LOVE photographing families. To me there is nothing better than capturing the laughter, the tears, and the love between families. I love seeing the connection between family members, those things that make each family who they are. I love making it real. I also LOVE photographing individual children. To get a glimpse into their life. To see what makes them unique--that look, that smile which only belongs to them. New Year's Day!

Back in 2008, I attended Skye Hardwick's workshop in Portland, OR. There I met four amazing women and photographers who live in Utah (or visit here at Christmas and during the summer)they are Jami, Jess, Stephanie, and Bev. So every New Year's we try and get together to chat and take a few pictures. We were lucky enough to be able to photograph this beautiful mom and her adorable little boy. It was so fun seeing friends and being able to catch up for a bit. It was a great way to start the year. Thanks for looking!
